Public Communique – CAM (Castellano/Mapudungun Abajo)

We inform the following to our Mapuche Nation and the public in general:
Yesterday, Saturday, September 23, 2023, we carried out a TRAWUN in the Nagche area of Chacaico, a space in the process of territorial reclamation against the forestry industry. Despite being besieged and harassed by the repressive forces of the Chilean State, this meeting was carried out successfully thanks to our self-defense, allowing us to conclude and declare:
KIÑE – We claim and give our full support to the latest actions that our ORT (Organisms of Territorial Control) have carried out in Meli Witran Mapu, which have had as a clear objective, stopping and evicting the forestry industry and other capitalist investments that threaten our ancestral territory. We also welcome and endorse the other actions of resistance carried out by sister organizations that go in the same direction.
EPU – That, despite the repressive offensive towards the autonomist Mapuche movement by this government, which bends itself in service of large economic interests, we proudly state that we have not lost or retreated one meter or one hectare of reclaimed territory. That is to say, we have not withdrawn from any active land reclamation efforts aimed at territorial control. For this reason, we declare, with the dignity and courage given to us by our Futa Keche, that we will defend our land reclamations politically and culturally until the very end, even taking up arms if necessary.
KILA – That, the latest statements made by [Chilean] authorities, including the current government officials and presidential delegates, aim to discredit and distort the autonomist Mapuche cause and its current resistance. The statements made by Chilean authorities echo the voices of the Chilean extreme right. We respond once again to this false narrative: we resoundingly reject any connection with wood theft mafias and organized crime, and we reaffirm the anti-capitalist and autonomist character of our struggle in historic Wallmapu.
MELI – That, in the context of the new neo-fascist offensive, which has involved increased repression and the political imprisonment of a dozen of our Weichafe (Warriors), we emphatically declare that we are not going to abandon any of our brothers who have been imprisoned fighting for our people. This is reason enough to begin mobilizing and acting in direct support of their decriminalization and freedom. This is especially considering a political trial is set to begin with four of our Peñi (Brothers) is set to begin on October 4th.
KECHU – That, in light of the current repressive offensive that the entire Mapuche autonomist movement is suffering, we call on our Mapuche people in resistance to engage in territorial struggle on the ground itself. Let us help strengthen our direct struggle against Big Capital which oppresses us all! At the same time, we urge you to participate in the mobilizations and actions against the exceptional measures and legislation, the use of faceless witnesses in trials, the setups against our people by those in power, and above all when police and military attack our communities to stop our worthy struggle.
CAYU – That, based on the above, we call to mobilize against the “Law Opposing Land Usurpations” that seeks to legitimize the colonial State on our territory and present an mistaken vision of who are the true keepers of the land. This legislation betrays and distorts history on this land, which is one of colonial occupation—the reason for historic conflict in Wallmapu. In that sense, we also urge a large meeting of Mapuche communities and organizations, a FUTA TRAWUN, to establish a strategy and overturn this new cursed law against mobilized Mapuche people.
REGLE – That, we reaffirm our autonomist position of struggle. We will not participate in any instance of the oppressive institutionality, much less in flawed and deceptive negotiation tables, which put up a smokescreen against our National Liberation process underway. For this reason, we will look for other instances and meeting points with other forms of Mapuche resistance. Ratifying, of course, that only by fighting back against big capital and with effective territorial control, will we achieve UNITY for the resistance of all our People.
Pu peñi ka pu lamngen. Despite the repression and the fascist advance, do not relent, do not lower your fists!!

COMUNICADO CAM
A Nuestro pueblo Nación Mapuche y a la opinión pública en general informamos.
Que, el día de ayer sábado 23 de septiembre de 2023, desarrollamos un TRAWUN en la zona Nagche de Chacaico, espacio en pleno proceso de recuperación territorial en contra de las forestales. Y que a pesar de ser sitiados y hostigados por las fuerzas represivas del Estado Chileno y gracias a la autodefensa propia, esta junta se realizó con éxito, permitiéndonos concluir y declarar :
KIÑE – Que, reivindicamos y damos nuestro total respaldo a las últimas acciones de sabotajes que han desarrollado nuestros ORT en el meli witran mapu, las que han tenido como claro objetivo, frenar y desalojar a la industria forestal y otras inversiones capitalistas que atentan contra nuestro territorio ancestral. También saludamos y aprobamos las otras acciones de resistencia efectuadas por orgánicas hermanas que van en la misma dirección.
EPU – Que, a pesar de la ofensiva represiva hacia el movimiento mapuche autonomista por parte de éste gobierno servil y lacayo a los grandes grupos económicos, manifestamos con orgullo que no hemos perdido, ni retrocedido ni un metro, ni una hectárea de territorio recuperado. Es decir, no existe el repliegue de ningún predio reivindicado y donde ejercemos, con mucho esfuerzo y convicción, el control territorial efectivo. Por lo mismo, anunciamos, con la dignidad y con el valor que nos otorgan nuestros futa keche, que defenderemos hasta las últimas consecuencias lo logrado en el plano territorial, político y cultural mapuche, hasta tomar las armas si resulta necesario.
KILA – Que, frente a la últimas declaraciones oficialistas, que vienen desde la actual gobierno central hasta los falderillos delegados presidenciales, que hacen eco de las voces de la ultraderecha chilena, se pretende desprestigiar y desvirtuar la causa mapuche autonomista y en resistencia. Ante lo cual respondemos una vez más, con un rotundo rechazo a los vínculos artificiosos que nos endosan con las mafias del robo de madera y el crimen organizado, y reafirmamos el carácter anticapitalista y autonomista de nuestra lucha en el Wallmapu histórico.
MELI – Que, en el contexto de la nueva ofensiva neofascista, que ha implicado mayor represión y la prisión política de una decena de nuestros weichafe, declaramos enfáticamente que no vamos a abandonar a ninguno de nuestros hermanos encarcelados por luchar por nuestro pueblo, razón suficiente para iniciar una serie de movilizaciones y acciones en apoyo directo para el logro de sus desprocesamientos y su libertad. Considerando e informando, además, del inicio de un juicio político para cuatro de nuestros peñi este 4 de octubre.
KECHU – Que, en el actual contexto de la ofensiva represiva que viene sufriendo el conjunto del movimiento mapuche autonomista, hacemos un llamado a nuestro pueblo mapuche en resistencia a asumir la lucha territorial en el terreno mismo, ayudando a profundizar los procesos de confrontación directa contra el gran capital que nos oprime a todos. A su vez, los instamos a participar en las movilizaciones y acciones en contra de las medidas y leyes de excepción, del uso de los testigos sin rostro en los juicios y los montajes urdidos desde el poder que pretenden frenar nuestra digna lucha , y sobre todo cuando se producen arremetidas policiales y militares en contra de las comunidades.
CAYU – Que, a partir de lo anterior hacemos un llamado a movilizarse en contra de la ley de usurpaciones que a nuestro juicio pretende legitimar al Estado colonial y presentar una visión errada de quienes son los verdaderos dueños de la tierra, traicionando y tergiversando la historia, y que es la razón profunda del conflicto histórico en el Wallmapu. En ese sentido, también instamos a realizar un gran encuentro de comunidades y organizaciones mapuche, un FUTA TRAWUN, para establecer una estrategia y echar abajo ésta nueva ley maldita contra el pueblo mapuche movilizado.
REGLE – Que, reafirmamos nuestra posición autonomista y de lucha de no participar en ninguna instancia de la institucionalidad opresora, menos en mesas de diálogo viciadas y engañiflas, que solo vienen a poner una cortina de humo al proceso de Liberación Nacional en marcha. Por lo anterior, es que buscaremos las instancias y puntos de encuentros con otras expresiones mapuche. Ratificando, eso sí, que solo en el sabotaje al gran capital y con el control territorial efectivo, lograremos la UNIDAD para la resistencia de todo nuestro Pueblo.
