Come out this Saturday to support the People of Brazil and their protests against the ongoing plunder and displacement caused by FIFA’s World Cup.
200,000 militarized police have been dispatched throughout Brazil, displacing and repressing the urban poor in favelas, workers, and further displacing Indigenous Peoples from their land, all who have come onto the streets protesting for their rights in the hundreds of thousands. Police murders of street children and organizers remain in impunity from the lock down of repression.
Join us on Saturday at the Toronto Brazilian Consulate at 1pm to show the people of Brazil they are not alone in their protest. More information to come.
